Who Are We?
Lions Strength is a community-based organization that operates in the rural northern region of Kenya and parts of South Sudan. It is dedicated to empowering rural communities and fostering sustainable development through its innovative approach of establishing “value villages.” We understand the challenges faced by the communities we serve and strive to address them by promoting social, economic, and environmental progress.
Our primary goal is to improve the overall quality of life for the residents of rural Turkana by creating well informed, self-reliant, and resilient communities. We achieve this by working closely with partners and local populations, identifying their needs, and implementing targeted solutions that contribute to long-term sustainable development. Our approach is characterized by community participation, capacity building, and the integration of innovative techniques.
